- I'm an artist in my free time and do marketing and graphics for my regular job. I just found a way to publish on demand that I am SOOOO excited about it. There is no money upfront and they provide the website, handle the money, etc., and you receive a royalty. I'm amazed how cool it is. So you can sell one book or 50 and they do it all. So you can do the fun stuff! I just want to make the art. You do have to market it though. I just got my site up last Friday and its soooooo fun so far. This way there is little investment on your part etc., I just opened my own store and uploaded my images onto t-shirts, mugs, magnets etc. The name of the company is called http://www.cafepress.com. My site is www.cafepress.com/blandrith. It might be a good way to start your book until you get others interested etc.. . . I hope that was helpful.
