Ahh, ordering for November, and here’s what I’ll be looking for as autumn tightens into winter:
Top of the list stuff: Conan #5 (one of comics’ few biographies), Jonah Hex 37, Spirit 23, Ex Machina 39, Fables 78, Jack of Fables 28, Lone Ranger 15;
2nd tier regulars: All-Star Batman and Robin 11, Wonder Woman 26, Man with No Name 7, Welcome to Hoxford 4, Red Sonja 40, 1001 Arabian Nights/Sinbad 7, Back Issue 31 (this issue showcasing Steve Gerber), Dare-devil 113, Ms. Marvel 33, She Hulk 35, Hulk 8;
Newer titles, so far so good: Superman 682 (Warren Ellis), Batman: Gotham After Midnight 7, Madame Xanadu 6, House of Mystery 7, Young Liars 9 (definitely adult), Echo 8, Sparks 5 & 6, Zorro 9;
Gambling on the promise: Umbrella Academy: Dallas 1 (their first story was quirky unto weird and sometimes laugh out loud funny), Top Ten II 2, (futuristic super-power police action, fun to compare with “Powers;” Zander Cannon, TT 1 artist, writes and arts TTII2)…
Dream Hunters 1 (Neil Gaiman and P. Craig Russell), JLA 27—(Icon returns to public view; one of several well-written heroes from ‘the Milestone Comics DC,’ where Static lives, as well), Air 4, Dragon Prince 3 (Ron Marz writes), Mercy Sparks 2 (devil girl as angel girl with cynical sense of humor and a good 1st issue)…
Jungle Girl II 1, Patsy Walker 4, Runaways 4 and Spider-man Loves Mary Jane 4 (both, Terry Moore, writing), and, Obama, the comic book.
May your budget ever be larger. Mine, too…
Best wishes,
Matt
